Last updated on MAY 10, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Revenue Management and Billing - Version 3.0.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On RMB v3.0.0.0.0, Deal Management should by default make the 'Simulation' Optional in the Deal Life Cycle

As a user, one should be able to manage the Pricing & Commitments of new Deal for a Prospect or from an existing Client with Price List and submit for Approval without Simulation.
So ODM should by default make the 'Simulation' Optional in the Deal Life Cycle.

• Should have an ability to create the deal without key in the Deal Attributes corresponding to the Simulation Process.
• Move the attributes in Deal Main screen corresponding to Simulation to a standalone section of Deal Main screen (Simulation/Reference/Questioner Section):
o Simulation Type / Include Hierarchy
      o Price Selection Date
      o Review Frequency
      o Usage Period
• Should have an ability to submit the Deal for Approval or complete the deal without Simulating the Deal
• Should have an ability to use standard pricing/negotiated pricing and complete the deal creation without entering commitments
