Excessive Run Times For the NMS Update Customer Process (Doc ID 2867619.1)

Symptoms

On : 2.4.0.1.0 version, Web Workspace

Most of the time, the product_update_customers.ces script takes less than 15 minutes to run.

Note: In releases 2.5 and newer, the script is named nms-update-customers


Project was occasionally seeing run times in excess of 4 hours.

Running the script with "-debug" did not give much insight as to which portion of the script was causing problems.


The update-customers process should not take an excessive amount of time to complete.
