Zone Change For A MCC/MNC For An Ongoing Session - ECE Cumulative Rating Issue

When attempt to update the generic selector configuration to move the the roaming operator Mobile Country Code / Mobile network Code (MCC/MNC) from one zone to another causes incorrect rating behavior for the ongoing sessions. This is caused by the Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) cumulative rating out of the box functionality. Due to this, the entire data session is rating using the rate information for the new zone. This impacts only ongoing sessions and no impact to the new sessions. Customer experiences issues if the new zone rate/MB is higher than the rate/MB for the old zone. There is a Revenue leakage if the new zone rate/MB is reduced
User has initiated a data session and updated the zone1 to zone 5 for a particular MCC/MNC before the third Credit Control Request - update (CCR-U) It is clear that ECE is performing cumulative rating using the pricing configured for zone5 which is not an acceptable behavior by the customer.
