Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.20.0 to 12.0.0.4.0 [Release 7.5.0 to 12.0.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), 7.5.0.20.0 version

After Billing Day of Month (BDOM) changes within the billing delay period, the /schedule updates the actg_future_t. When pin_bill_ accts is triggered the actg_future_t gets aligned to actg_next_t which is wrong .

Consider the below example:

The system is configured to have 1 day of billing delay.
On 08.08.2021 an account is created with the billing cycle 11.
On 11.08.2011 the billing cycle is changed to 06 which results in a differed action to be executed after the billing delay period.

The result of the scenario 1 is wrong - system should behave the same way whether the action is executed during the delay period or after the delay period - Here it is expected that the next bill date to be 2021-09-11. In scenario 2, when the execution order has been modified and forced the pin_bill_accts to run before the pin_deffered_acts and got the same result as in Scenario 3.
