Goal

Is there any existing method in Node Programming Language (NPL) to remove special character from strings, or any existing java hook to refer in Oracle Communications Offline Mediation Controller (OCOMC)?

Scenario is that user is getting Call Detail Record (CDR) which contain '#' character in input fields like called number and Mobile Network Operator (MNO) has no control over this to avoid it, hence one wants to know if there is a way to remove these characters from OCOMC?
