Documaker Studio V12.7 Won't Build A Workspace When Attempting To Import From An Existing Workspace

Symptoms
Trying to build a new workspace in V12.7, using JDBC connectivity to an Oracle DB. When I choose to create 'New', the JDBC connection works fine and creates the DB tables and workspace. When I choose to 'import from existing' which is an 11.3 codebase library, the JDBC connection screen returns an error and the output window shows that it can't load a 'DEFLIB\CARFILE.DFD'. I don't think I have to have a CARFILE.DFD associated with the 11.3 codebase library, but that's what it seems to be telling me?
