Purpose
This document provides guidelines for using Oracle Data Guard with Oracle Order and Service Management (OSM). This includes scenarios where Data Guard is configured to support geographic redundancy and disaster recovery, to maximize availability, or to provide an alternative to a RAC database.
Scope
This document is intended for OSM architects, administrators, developers, customer support, and testers. The reader should be familiar with OSM, Oracle Enterprise Linux, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Database, and Oracle Data Guard.
This document is applicable for OSM 7.3.5.1 and up to OSM 7.4.1. This was certified on Oracle 19c; 18c and 12c are not supported. Please contact Oracle Support for more detailed and up to date information.
