Information in this document applies to any platform.
When using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection between the AutoVue client and the VueServlet, when trying to open a document with the "View in AutoVue" option in Web Center Content (WCC) the following error occurs.
java.lang.Exception: Illegal character in path at index 56
- Setup SSL on WCC.
- Enable SSL between the client and the VueServlet (see section "SSL Between the AutoVue Client and the VueServlet" in the Security Guide).
- Log into WCC.
- Search for a document.
- Open using AutoVue by clicking on "View in AutoVue".
What is working:
If WCC is used in non SSL mode, there is no error and AutoVue is able to open and display the file.
