Purpose

The purpose of this document is to share with the user community the problems (with the solutions used) faced during the upgrade of Oracle Life Sciences Data Hub (LSH) 3.1.1.3 and Oracle Life Sciences Data Management Workbench (DMW) 3.1.1.3 to Oracle Critical Patch Update (CPU) for April 19, 2022 for the Life Sciences Global Business Unit (LSGBU) (Doc ID 2854079.1). This is in no way intended to replace the existing documentation and notes or to serve as guide to the installation process. 

Scope

The upgrade from LSH/DMW 3.1.1.3 with April 19, 2022 CPU include the activities detailed in the patches listed under Doc ID 2854079.1.

 1.1 Database Patch Fails with 'EZConnect string = (Instance <CDB_Instance_Name>) points to a Container with CON_ID of 3 instead of the Root;

 2.1. Login to DMW Failed with 'java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Malformed IPv6 address at index 8: ldap://[<IP_Address>]:<Port>'
