Last updated on JUNE 30, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 to [Release 4.3 to 12.0.0]
Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller - Version 6.0.0 to [Release 6.0 to 12.0.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On all versions of Oracle Communication Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) and Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C or 3C), when using E.164 Number Mapping (ENUM) to query a Domain Name Server (DNS), the Name Authority Pointer (NAPTR) result returned by the DNS server fails to be passed back to slee_acs and instead results in the following error:

May 19 03:11:13.996007 slee_acs(348) WARNING: acsSLEEChassis_t::main: Unknown non-management event type EnumRequestEvent received

 This causes the call to immediately fail and be dropped.
