RefreshPosDataBatch Clears the END_DATE of the Clearance in SIM's ITEM_PRICE Table (Doc ID 2880591.1)

Last updated on JULY 01, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Price Management - Version 16.0.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

RPM does not populate the Store Inventory Management (SIM) ITEM_PRICE table's end date with RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL's Reset date.

Steps to Reproduce
-----------------------
1. Create and approve a Clarance with a reset date.
2. In RPM, the application will populate the RPM_CLEARANCE, RPM_CLEARANCE_RESET, and the RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL tables with the correct EFFECTIVE_DATE and RESET_DATES.
3. However, in SIM, the SIM's ITEM_PRICE will not get populated correctly with the Reset. As a result, the clearance never gets terminated.
4. Hence the users see the Clearance price indefinitely.
