After Running BOM Comparison Report, Generated Excel File Is 0 Byte Size (Doc ID 2883034.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior

After running BOM Comparison Report, generated Excel file is 0 byte size.


Expected Behavior

Excel file outputted by BOM Comparison Report has appropriate data outputted

Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Web Client, and go to REPORTS > Reports and Analytics > Standard Reports > BOM Comparison Report
  2. Execute
  3. Select below, and Next:
    Layout: DEFAULT LAYOUT
    Output Format: EXCEL
  4. Select below (default selection), and Next:
    Compare Level: All Levels
    Compare Structure: BOM
    BOM Attributes: Item Number, Find Num, Sites
  5. Add, and search for Item with BOM and revision (i.e. P00001, Rev 2), and select the item
  6. Add, and search for the same Item selected in step 5, but select a different revision (i.e. P00001, Rev 1)
  7. Finish
  8. Save the generated Excel file.
  9. Check the file size. It shows 0 size
