MetaSolv Solution (MSS) | Display of Response Window Problems Running Application in Dual-Monitor Environment (Doc ID 2883079.1)

Last updated on JULY 18, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications MetaSolv Solution - Version 6.3.1 to 6.3.1 [Release 6.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In a multi-display configuration, if MetaSolv (MSS) is running in a monitor that is to the left of the primary display, any floating window that opens in MSS will open in the primary display instead of the left display where the main MSS window is located. The floating window can be moved into the left display, but each new window will continue to open in the center.

MSS functions normally when running in either the center display (primary) or in the right display.

Also, the MSS login window will always launch to the primary display. If you move MSS into the right display and then close it, then next time you log in, the MSS window will appear on the right (after logging in on the primary display). However, if you move MSS to the left display, it will never re-open there.
