Information in this document applies to any platform.

On Oracle Communications Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) version of HTTPGateway, the current functionality of HTTPGateway Call Detail Record (CDR) generation 5G Charging Function (CHF) is to scan records following within a timestamp and to generate CDRs.

As per the requirement, one user would like to have an Enhancement where below 2 parameters will be included which would decide on CDR Generation:

1. MaxCDRCount - Number of CDR records in a single file.
This values needs to be configured. As soon as this limit exceeds, a CDR file needs to be generated, and this file should not contain more than MaxCDRCount value.

2. MaxCDRTime - File generation shall also be time triggered.
If the number of files to trigger the generation of files is not reached within MaxCDRTime mins, a file shall anyways be generated.

In summary, CDR file generation will be initiated at the earliest of above 2 events occurred, once CDR files are generated.
