The Deal Search Page Keeps Spinning When We Search Only With 'Created By' Field Populated

Symptoms
On RMB v4.0.0.0.0, The Deal search page performance issue
On the Deal Dashboard, the deal search zone is defaulted to deal details and the 'Created By' field is populated with the logged in user's user id.
When we hit on search without any other filter criteria, the spinner keeps running and no data is being displayed.
We expect that it should give the list of deals created by that user.
