Overridable Edits Do Not Use AsAuth% Details (Doc ID 2887831.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 10, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Insurance Policy Administration J2EE - Version 11.3.1.10 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.3.1.10 version, General

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When a ValidateExpressions edits is configured as Overridable, the business controls which Security Groups are allowed to override the edit via AsAuth% details.
This functions correctly in V10. However under under V11, it seems that the AsAuth% details are ignored and all Security Groups are allowed to override the edit.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to the specific Policy.
2. View the Error/Warnings on the InitialPremium Activity with various different Security Roles.
3. When viewing using a Security Role = BusinessSupport.
- V10 does not allow BusinessSupport to override IPR022
- V11 allows BusinessSupport to override IPR022
4. When viewing using a Security Role = PaymentCorrections.
- V10 does not allow PaymentCorrections to override IPR018 and IPR022
- V11 allows PaymentCorrections to override IPR018 and IPR022
