Last updated on JULY 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Life Sciences Argus Safety - Version 8.2.3.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When trying to modify the value (such as text, numbers) of the existing criteria in the advance conditions, it changes to the date format.

Due to this, it is unable to edit the value because the following error appears

The date you have entered is not valid. Please enter a valid date.

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Go to Utilities > Advanced condition library
2. Press the [New] button
3. Create a new AC with the date format and text/number criteria
4. Save the configuration

5. In Advanced condition library screen, check on the created AC
6. Press the [Modify] button so that the settings appears
7.

For example, this AC has the following 2 settings and 2nd row is the text field.

Scenario#7-1

Remove the text from 2nd row and tab-out so that "??-???-0000" appears in the "Value" field which is the issue
even though this field "Initial Justification" is not the date format field.

When trying to remove the value "??-???-0000" from the 2nd row and then enter the value again,
the message "The date you have entered is not valid. Please enter a valid date." displays.

Scenario#7-2
Place the cursor in the "Value" field for 2nd row and modify the text.
When trying to press the [Save] button or tab-out, the message "The date you have entered is not valid. Please enter a valid date." displays.

Once this error appears, unable to modify the data because the value ??-???-0000 keeps displaying in the "Value" field.
