MetaSolv Solution 6.3.1.367

The fix for Bug 32102878 delivered in "Patch 33144469: MSS_6_3_1_B367(6.3.1.5.0)" appears to NOT be working. The MetaSolv Solution Utilities (tbs_util.exe) client still throws a "Your password has expired. Please enter a new password in the next window." message at logon even though the "Security > Use MSS Password Validation, including Password Expiration" system preference is DISABLED (N) and the user's ASAP.SECURITY_USERS.EFFECTIVE date is in the past. Below are the [Problem]/[Resolution] notes from the [MSS, 6.3.1 b367] Patch Readme.

[Problem]

When changing the password in TBS Utilities, with the preference "Use MSS Password Validation, including Password Expiration" turned OFF, the application does not consider the preference setting.

[Resolution]

Code has been modified and now the TBS Utilities will consider the "Use MSS Password Validation, including Password Expiration" preference setting when users change their password.
