Gaps In Grafana Graph Display And Metric Collector Connections Are Going On CLOSE_WAIT State (Doc ID 2889406.1)

On Oracle Communications Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) 11.3.0.8.0 version,

In recent times Customer observed more gaps in Grafana display where most of the times gaps comes during rollingUpgrade with load testing but this subsides after the rolling upgrade is completed. They suspect the gaps are due to CLOSE_WAIT connections for metric collector.

They involved their Infra team and increased the number of connections, but still the issue was not resolved completely. It however reduced the frequency of close_wait connections. Few times they have taken restart of metric collector if close_wait has not stopped for longer duration, and sometimes it has recovered by itself. Also after reducing the loglevel, the close_wait has reduced, but it is intermittent even after rollingUpgrade is completed as they have also observed close_wait even after 1 hour of rollingUpgrade completion.
