Symptoms

When doing the Oracle Clinical 5.4 database tier server code installation, the relink step does not complete successfully / relink_rxc.log contains the 'error adding symbols: DSO missing from command line' error i.e.

set_pwd.c:(.text+0x7a): warning: the `gets' function is dangerous and should not be used. /usr/bin/ld: /home/opapps/oc/54/common/sec.a(pwd_sec.o): undefined reference to symbol 'nzssGSL_GetSecretLength' /u01/app/oracle/product/19.3.0/db_1/lib/libnnz19.so: error adding symbols: DSO missing from command line collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
