When attempting to launch 2 PS plans simultaneously via a scheduler ends in the following errors

cannot unlink file for /u01/install/APPS/fs2/EBSapps/appl/msc/12.0.0/bin/PS/scp/12.2/ps/lib/python2.7/tempfile.pyo: No such file or directory at /u01/install/APPS/fs2/EBSapps/appl/msc/12.0.0/bin/ line 106

cannot restore permissions to 0100775 for /u01/install/APPS/fs2/EBSapps/appl/msc/12.0.0/bin/PS/scp/12.2/ps/lib/python2.7/tempfile.pyo: Bad file descriptor at /u01/install/APPS/fs2/EBSapps/appl/msc/12.0.0/bin/ line 106

cannot chdir to .. from /u01/install/APPS/fs2/EBSapps/appl/msc/12.0.0/bin/PS/scp/12.2/ps/lib/python2.7/lib2to3/tests: Stale file handle, aborting at /u01/install/APPS/fs2/EBSapps/appl/msc/12.0.0/bin/ line 106

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Apply a new PS patch on the server
  2. Setup scheduler to launch 2 PS Plans simultaneously
  3. Run Scheduler
  4. Review Launch PS plan concurrent request and observe it ends in an error
