Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:

After the Creation step, when a user Accepts the task and for the first time opens any Multi-Select Data Element (DE) on the form to select additional values, it is observed that the previously selected values are unchecked or are not visible. On cancelling or saving the Multi-Select DE, the previously selected values are still not visible.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

Previously selected Multi-Select DE values should be displayed (as checked) while Accepting the tasks and opening the Multi-Select DE on the form to select additional values for it. i.e Users should be able to view the previously selected values on the Multi-Select DE while adding new values.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Unifier environment as user.
  2. Navigate to the desired project > desired Business Process (BP) > View a task that has a Multi-Select DE on the form. The previously selected values on the Multi-Select DE are visible when the task is in View mode.
  3. Accept the task and open the Multi-Select DE to select new additional values. Notice that the previously selected values on the Multi-Select DE are unchecked or not visible any more.
  4. Cancelling out of adding the additional values or Saving the Multi-Select DE does not display the previously selected values.
