Symptoms
When attempting to view a file attachment with AutoVue
the following error occurs in the AutoVue window.
ERROR
com.cimmetry.core.VueRemoteException: No available DocServer
The AutoVue server log 'log4j-roll.log' located under [Agile home]\AVS\bin\Logs shows the below error messages:
thread="Xvfb.909 stderr" level="ERROR" loggerName="Xvfb.909" endOfBatch="false"....
<Message>_XSERVTransmkdir: Mode of /tmp/.X11-unix should be set to 1777</Message>
STEPS
1. Log into Web Client
2. Open any object with file attachment
3. Select the attachment and click View to view the attachment with AutoVue
FACTs
- AutoVue server is running on a Linux server
- AutoVue used to work and users were able to view file attachments from Agile
