Symptoms

When batch job runs with high number of threads and job gets aborted, Blocking session are created on the database for CI_BATCH_CTRL table.
It takes long time for all the threads to get errored out and thus delays the overall processing.

Workaround
Manually mark all the threads in 20 status to 30 and kill backend database sessions. This activity takes time.
