Symptoms
During monthly processing, all FTP Process batches are running much slower. The individual processes used to run in 2-3 minutes but are now taking from 10 to 20 minutes.
There is no issue with shared memory as confirmed by "ipcs -a". There is no issue with chained rows after checking the table definition.
Performance does improve slowly if the Process Tuning settings are changed over time as each batch is executed.
