Usage Is Getting Redirected Even With Enough Available Balance (Doc ID 2898252.1)

Symptoms

In a system of Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) 12.0 PatchSet 4 Interim Patch 2, i.e. 12.0.0.4.2, several subscribers are redirected to Topup Page even though they have sufficient balance. Subscribers are having their monthly bucket intact, and there is no balances difference between Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) and ECE systems. Balances are synced properly.
Customers are unable to surf for many days, event after billing, unless its synced again.

Credit-Control-Answer sent by Diameter Gateway looks like this:


A hanging session (already expired) is observed for that account, which was not getting cleaned-up by active_session_object (ASO) cleanup process. It looks like this session is influencing the current session by enabling Final-Unit-Indicator redirect (FUI). Hence, subscribers are not able to browse.
