Completely Remove and Reinstall Analytics on Backup Server
(Doc ID 2898567.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 26, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Unified Assurance - Version 4.0.51.0.0 to 4.0.87.0.0 [Release 4.0.0.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
If the AnalyticsWizard succeeds on the primary server and fails on the backup, the following steps can be used to recover the installation. In addition, users may notice issues when attempting to access Analytics on the Backup Server, see error messages in the AnalyticsWizard.log or notice CRASH REPORT's related to Analytics. I have placed a "Example Error" below. In this case, RabbitMQ crashed when the AnalyticsWizards was trying to communicate with it and the Wizard FATALed after that. In this case there is no option but to try to remove and reinstall Analytics, or completely remove Unified Assurance (Assure1v5) from the system and reinstall. Again, please be sure to have a full image or backup of the system. Please see the example error below.
Example Error - the errors may vary, this is just one example
