On : 2.5.0.2.0 version, ENV - Environment

[INQUIRY] - Parallel processing - CC&b slow performance issue

Having slow performance issues and this has been attributed primarily to queries referencing the CI_SP table.

This table, along with the others listed below has a ‘parallel’ setting that allows under certain circumstances for the SQL to be divided up into multiple processes to try to improve performance. Unfortunately, unless this is carefully configured/tuned it can result in the performance becoming worse as the database/server becomes flooded with parallel queries.

 

In the cases below queries using these tables can, under the right conditions, be split up into 16 separate processes.

Are these settings are intentional/needed or whether they can be set back to the default value of one?
