Symptoms

On : 2.5.0.1.0 version, Web Workspace

Volt/Var Optimization (VVO) should execute plans with violations automatically when it is in automatic mode.
VVO would not execute plans automatically when the plan generated had forecasted AFTER violations even though the number of AFTER violations forecasted were less than the BEFORE violations.

Rule VVO_RV_AUTO_EXECUTE_WITH_VVO allows VVO plans to be executed automatically if AFTER violations are present but only for the Relieve Violations objective.

This rule should apply to all operating objectives, not just the Relieve Violations objective

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Set VVO to automatic mode
  2. Ensure SRS rule VVO_AUTO_EXECUTE_RED_VIOL is set to "yes"
  3. Force VVO to run in an area that will result in a plan with before and after violations but the number will be reduced
  4. Ensure VVO auto executes the plan
