On : 2.6.0.0.0 version, ENV - Environment
Field Validations not Working
We have applied field validations on the following pages fields and apply security profiles to allow specific user groups
1) Person Page (Field Name "Person Name")
2) Account Page (Field Name "Setup Date")
3) Premise Page (Field Name "Address Line 1,Address Line 2,Address Line 3,Address Line 4")
As CC&B is a Web Base application and Accessible through multiple browsers and browsers is also giving many additional Add-on features to Crack or Bypass the Codes. Kindly recommend what we do in such scenarios to avoid such type of intruders to bypass our checks and validations.
This is referring about Premise & Person Page on which field validations are not working and end users found a way-around to bypass the security checks in place.
From the Uploaded Scripts below are the Plug-In Scripts and they were Configured as per the best rules of Business and methodology defined by
Oracle for Plug-In Scripts in its Books:-
Setup Date
Address Correction
Name Correction
and One is Customized Script which is applied on Customer Contact and is executed and fired run-time when ever page is loaded to disable fields
"Account, Person and Premise" on Consumer Contact Page.
