Goal

 In 4.4.0.3.0 we started enabling our Redwood user experience and as part of that offered the ability for a user to choose the location of the Dashboard: left or right. (All references to left or right are with respect to a 'left to right' (LTR) language orientation). Historically the dashboard location was on the right. For the Redwood user experience the product decision was to make the default Dashboard Location on the Left. In 4.5.0.0.0, the Redwood user experience became the default.

The article highlights steps that may be taken to put the dashboard location back to the right.

*Note that it was recognized subsequently that the terms 'left' and 'right' only applied correctly to an LTR language orientation. For an RTL language, the terms 'left' and 'right' for the dashboard location were actually reversed. So in 4.5.0.1.0, the descriptions were changed to "Before" and "After" to more correctly reflect the location of the dashboard relative to the main page display.
