How to Prevent Unhandled responses in the ReceiverRem Queue From Accumulated (Doc ID 2903446.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 17, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Documaker - Version 12.6.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On : ODEE (Oracle Documaker Enterprise Edition) versions 12.5 and later

When submitting jobs via the Hot Directory method the WebLogic Persistence Storage used by JMS Server can become fairly large and therefore less performant.

This can also occur over time when submitting jobs via DWS and Queue submissions when timeouts occur or when the Response Type is set to JobId.

JMS queue messages that are orphaned (will never be removed) from queue can accumulate, especially in the ReceiverRem queue under certain conditions and can cause latency overhead or interruption in JMS service.

How to prevent this from happening?
