Averify Issue: Error Cannot Execute [Permission denied] When Running averify.sh on Linux Machine (Doc ID 2903811.1)

Symptoms

Below error is reported when running Averify on Linux machine:


 

Error

-ksh: ./averify.sh: cannot execute [Permission denied]




Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. On the Linux machine server, download Averify 1.7.8.5 and extract the file
  2. Launch command line, and change directory to %Averify_Home%\bin
  3. Run below, and gets error "cannot execute [Permission denied]"
    ./averify.sh
