Issue With Shadow Client BR When Transaction Spawned From A Client Level (Doc ID 2908650.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 14, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Insurance Policy Administration J2EE - Version 11.2.5.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.2.5.1 version, General

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
A New Client Level Transaction has been built to merge/split Clients Roles on Policies i.e. need to change all the Roles a Client has to another Client.
This is a Client Level Transaction that will spawn Policy Level Transactions to change the Roles and also spawn a Company Level Transaction to delete the Client if requested.
On the Company Level Transaction there is an Attached Rule ShadowClient that will change the status of the Client to shadowed.

When spawning the Company Level Transaction, it appears to be populating the AsClientActivity Table with two entries which when attached rule processes causes a system error.
If the Company Transaction is added manually, it works correctly.

Even though there are no Pending Activities or Active Roles, tt appears to be caused by the spurious entries in the AsClientActivity table.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Spawning Company Level Transactions should not cause an error.
