(Doc ID 2910399.1)
Last updated on MAY 22, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter Base - Version 2.8.0.0.0 to 2.9.0.0.0 [Release 2.8 to 2.9]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
To enable Interval Proxy Day VEE Estimation Rule, customer have configured and setup the MC Comparison Type. However, MC comparison type is not able to create the Measuring Component Comparison Period that should be responsible for estimating missing intervals. There is also no option to add Measuring Comparison Period manually in C2M. We have tried running OOTB batch D1-STMCM (Standalone Measuring Component Monitor) to see if it can create the comparison period but was unsuccessful.
Steps -
1. Create Interval Type – Standalone Comparison MC Type and create corresponding Interval Standalone Comparison MC.
2. Create a factor profile and associate above created Comparison MC to it.
3. Create Measuring Component Comparison Type with comparison object set to Factor Profile. Set above create Factor here.
4. Associate this Comparison Type to above created Standalone Comparison MC Type.
4. Create Data on Interval Standalone Comparison MC from 1day – 06/01/2022 12am to 06/02/2022 12am. Latest Contiguous date/time is 6/02/2022 12am
5. Run D1-STMCM.
6. Notice that No comparison periods are created. Upon checking logs, groovy syntax error is being thrown. Also a null pointer is thrown when like day eligibility template on MC
comparison type is not configured.
