Agile Managed Server Is Not Coming Up with Error: JPS-06519: Failed to get/set credential with map fks and key master.key.0.base64 in bootstrap credstore (Doc ID 2910854.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to start managed server of Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) after copying jps-config.xml from the admin server to the managed server, the following error occurs.

Error

oracle.security.jps.JpsException: JPS-06519: Failed to get/set credential with map fks and key master.key.0.base64 in bootstrap credstore. Reason oracle.security.jps.service.keystore.KeyStoreServiceException: JPS-06519: Failed to get/set credential with map fks and key master.key.0.base64 in bootstrap credstore. Reason null
  at oracle.security.jps.internal.config.OpssCommonStartup.preStart(OpssCommonStartup.java:423)


Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Install a new clustered managed server to the installation of Agile PLM
  2. Launch command line, and start Admin server node by running startServerAgileAdmin script.
  3. Log into WebLogic admin console (http://{admin_server}:{port}/console) as superadmin user.
  4. Go to agileDomain > Environment > Servers, and confirm the admin server is in RUNNING state.
  5. Launch command line, and start Managed server running startAgileManagedServerX script.
  6. See the error JPS-01544: The provided configuration file path <DOMAIN_HOME>\config\fmwconfig\jps-config.xml is invalid or null in the command line where the managed server is started.
  7. Follow the instruction in Doc ID 2471558.1 and copy <DOMAIN_HOME>\config\fmwconfig\jps-config.xml file from the admin server to the managed server node.
  8. Restart Managed server running startAgileManagedServerX script.
  9. See the error in the command line where the managed server is started.



Changes

Copied jps-config.xml from the admin server to the managed server, and restarted managed server.
