Japanese UI Display Issue on Microsoft Edge Browser, Object Number Is Not Aligned to the Left When Opened from Search Result (Doc ID 2910915.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior

Japanese UI display Issue on Edge Browser.
After item is opened from search result, item number showing in the right pane of the Web Client is not aligned to the left.
This display issue happens on Microsoft Edge when the user's language preference is Japanese.

Expected Behavior

After item is opened from search result, item number showing in the right pane of the Web Client to be aligned to left.

Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Launch Microsoft Edge browser, and log into Web Client.
  2. Go to My Settings > Preferences, and make sure Language is set to English.
  3. Run quick search for Items.
  4. Open an item from the search result.
  5. See the Item Number showing in the right pane of the Web Client is aligned to left. This is expected.
  6. Go to My Settings > Preferences, and change Language to Japanese, and save.
  7. Re-login to Web Client.
  8. Run quick search for Items.
  9. Open an item from the search result.
  10. See the Item Number showing in the right pane of the Web Client is NOT aligned to left. This is NOT expected.




Facts

Issue does not happen with English users.
Issue happens with Japanese user using Microsoft Edge browser.
Issue does not happen with Japanese users if Chrome or Firefox is used.
Issue did not happen with Japanese users using Internet Explorer on 9.3.6 RUP19 and below. (Internet Explorer is not supported from 9.3.6 RUP20)

Changes

 Applied 9.3.6 RUP20, and started using Microsoft Edge as the browser to access to Web Client.
