The Convergence perl-based init-config utility needs more flexibility for differing environments. Specifically:
Verification of "UGDIR_BINDDN" is too restrictive. There seems to be an assumption that the bind DN is going to be the "Directory Manager" - as per below:
The biggest practical problem with this is the regex test will stop the configuration unless the DN starts with "cn=". There is absolutely no reason that the DN should need to be defined with a "cn" - in a sample environment, the bind DN is a "uid". The "desc", "error" and "regex" should all be updated to take into account varying environments like this.
Changes
This issue is the result of a configuration script change, which has been acknowledge by engineering.
