Symptoms

After upgrading Primavera P6 from R18.8 to R21.12.10, when opening the Project Statistics dashboard, the following error occurs:

Unknown error, please contact your System Administrator.

The following can be found in the P6WebAccess.html log file:

ERROR /rest/dashboard/projectStatistics/gridData/load (User Id: XX DB Id: 1) com.primavera.rest.common.pmapp.grouping.project.ProjectLwfGroupingHelper Exception occured while creating sort Defs:
org.json.JSONException: A JSONArray text must start with '[' at 0 [character 1 line 1]

ERROR /rest/dashboard/projectStatistics/gridData/load (User Id: XX DB Id: 1) com.primavera.rest.common.exception.InternalErrorResponseExceptionMapper A JSONArray text must start with '[' at 0 [character 1 line 1]
