Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:

Missing values in data elements when importing Line Items for Summary Payment Applications (using XLSX or CSV). The values are not populated from the Contract-SOV as expected and instead show the value as 0.
However, if the Lines Items are manually added, the values for these data elements show correctly.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

Importing Line Items (using XLSX or CSV) from the Contract to the Payment Application record should display all Line Items data element values correctly even for the ones that are auto-populated from the Contract-SOV.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Contract Business Process (BP) specifications:
Cost BP: Base Commit – Line items with CBS Code
SOV type: Summary Payment Application.

  1. Log into Unifier as a user with permissions to perform the tasks below.
  2. Create a Contract record with the specifications above.
  3. Add line items, give the required data elements any values.
  4. Approve the Contract record to create an SOV. Open the SOV record and observe that the data elements are showing 0 value.
  5. Create a Payment Application record and select the Contract record created in step 2.
  6. Go to the Line items tab, and click Import (Using XLSX or CSV)
  7. Fill in the details for form and import the file. Observe that all the imported Line Items are correctly there, except for the data elements that are populated from SOV
  8. FYI - Alternatively, the issue does not occur when:
    - Follow the steps above up to step 5.
    - Go to the Line items tab, and click Add (manual)
    - The Lines Items that are populated from the SOV show the correct values.
