Field Length is not validating when text is pasted instead of typed (Doc ID 2912541.1)

Symptoms

In the Product Service Request window, Label and Value Info tab, the application allows valid values longer than the defined maximum length when the user pastes text from clipboard.

If text is pasted into a valid value field on the PSR, the max value length defined by the product specification and product catalog is not enforced. If the user manually types the value, the application will prevent entering any character over the max value length. However, if a value is pasted into the field, the max length value is not checked.
