On : NA version, Student/Parent Self Service (P

We can successfully login as Students and Admins. We want our proxies to be able to login regardless of whether the student has actually logged in yet. We have verified that the student record does exist for the student the parent is trying to proxy for.

We have Guest And Student Authentication Mode set to Guest and Student SAML Authentication.

We have unchecked Enable FERPA Consent and Enable Delegated Access in the System Settings.

We are passing the required saml attributes.
In the NameID attribute, we are passing the username of the parent and in the StudentID attribute we are passing the External Id of the Student with the Roles attribute set to Parent. We are also passing the FirstName, LastName, EmailAddress, and PhoneNumber.



ERROR

In the saml logs bi publisher report it gives the following error message.
Guest User (XXXXXXX) has no students registered in Portal.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using SSO parent proxy logs in
2. Above Error is Received
