Goal
The product is changing its recommendations for handling flattening of fields that are part of effective dated tables, including effective dated characteristics.
A recommended schema configuration in the documentation results in additional rows being added for the same existing value when no changes were made to the value.
Base delivered business objects that are following the outdated recommendation are being reviewed. But implementations should also ensure any custom business objects are following the latest product guidelines.
