Accessing System Library Reports With Brackets in the Report Name Causes Argus To Hang [Processing...] (Doc ID 2916017.1)

When accessing Reports > Aggregate Reports > System Reports Library, using



Symptoms

Accessing System Reports Library screen

Reports > Aggregate Reports > System Reports Library.
Click on the 'Report Name' search field
Use the \/ icon to select a case from the Dropdown list.

 

Select a report from the list
Observe that the following error is displayed:
"Unable to rethrow exception: The exception to throw is null.

Unable to rethrow exception: The exception to throw is null.


Goto another Argus screen and return to Reports > Aggregate Reports > System Reports Library.
User gets the message:
[Processing...]


 

Error Message in Log file located at c:\temp\arguslogs\argusnet\argusnet.log: 

Error in Like operator: the string pattern '2022 Product [CDA] Report%' is invalid.
