DIH 8.1.x: Parameters In Extract Connector Derived Column Express

Goal
Post upgrade from 803 to 81 we see that when parameters are used in extract connector derived column expressions are not working as expected.
For ex:
Connector:CAPA_CCD_SAPPTAUX_CTL
Derived Column : "File Name"
Derived column expression : 'xxxx_capa_proj_qrm_ccd_sapptaux_#DIH_DEV.MIS_DATE.csv'
Parameter passed in ICC batch-task : MIS_DATE=$MISDATE
When you run this connector in 803 :
Output:
xxxxx_capa_proj_qrm_ccd_sapptaux_20210430.csv
When you run the same connector with the same code in 81:
Output :
xxxxx_capa_proj_qrm_ccd_sapptaux_#{}.csv
