WipEdit 12.6.0 requires sporadic reinstalls in Edge with IE Mode

We have been using WipEdit 12.6.0 in Edge with IE Mode enabled. With the switch to Edge and IE Mode, we have noticed sporadic issues with proofing, attaching, and saving WIP transactions. The issues appear to be local to the desktop, as a clearing of the Edge cache and reinstalling of the WipEdit plug-in appears to resolve the issue. Sometimes a restart of the desktop will resolve the issue temporarily. Is there a known issue with temporary WipEdit files and/or caching in Edge using IE Mode?
