Device Event Status Transition Logs Are Not Created (Doc ID 2919566.1)

Goal

Using Base Device Event BO D1-StandardDeviceEvent, which has Base BO D1-DeviceEvent as it's Parent. Events which are created in the upgraded version of MDM (2.5) are not having log entries created. Those Events which are being created and stuck in the EventSeeder do have Log Entries present, as their BO has a specific algorithm. Validated this functionality against current MDM v2.1.0.3 and all config is the same, and log entries are created in older version.


After doing some further research you see there is a new algorithm plugged into the D1-DVCEVENT MO (F1-NOTRNLOG).
Believe this is suppressing the log messages that are being generated in legacy 2.1.0.3 version. Is there a reason for the new algorithm?
