Can Convergence Be Configured With 2 Or 3 Corporate Addressbooks From Domains That Each Have Their Own Directory Server And Use Different Ports? (Doc ID 2925017.1)

Last updated on MARCH 03, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 3.0.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Is it possible to have a Convergence server with two corporate address books in the scenario of: one using the same LDAP server as Convergence and the other one in a remote location which uses its own LDAP server?  Additionally, these two Directory Servers would be configured to use a different port for LDAP.

Another thought on this would be to see if the same type of configuration could be accomplished through a proxy LDAP server. The two separate LDAP domains would point to it and would return requests accordingly, based on which domain sent the query.

Would either of these ideas work with Convergence?
