Two ECE Cluster Pointing The Same JMS Server (Doc ID 2926308.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 08, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 12.0.0.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

There are two Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) clusters, one active and one passive without replication.
Does each cluster have to be connected to a separate Java Message Service (JMS) or can both clusters share the same connection?
This will be a production environment and in the second stage the passive cluster will be active and will have its own JMS server connection.
But is it possible in the first stage to share the JMS connection? While the servers are ready for the second stage.
