Symptoms

On : 2.4.0.1.0 version, Web Workspace

The first time a digital or analog measurement is moved, the text changes color.

Any subsequent times a measurement is moved, it is shown in the correct color.

Moving a measurement should not remove the override color

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps, on an OPAL demo model:

  1. Login to web workspace, Administrator
  2. Get authority
  3. Bring up SCADA summary
  4. Filter on attribute column for "Phase A Current"
  5. Filter on Analogs
  6. Target to any of these
many will have 'F' Quality Code by default as they appear to get those once not connected to a SCADA interface
So most will be dark green in the viewer
  7. Verify that there is no entry for the device in the MEASURE_PLACEMENT table
  8. In the Viewer's Hide/Display panel, under the Layers section, make sure Measurements is enabled.
  9. Close the Hide/Display panel
  10. Increase the text size (shift+T) until the measurements are clearly visible
  11. Right click on the measurements to bring up the context menu
  12. In the context menu, select Move
  13. Drag the green box a short distance away from the original device
  14. The measurements will now be shown in bright green
  15. Right click on the measurements to bring up the context menu
  16. In the context menu, select Move
  17. Drag the green box a short distance away from the original device
  18. The measurements will change from bright green back to dark green
